Review by hotel critic
During my recent stay at Moyness House, I had the pleasure of experiencing a culinary delight within an inviting atmosphere. Nestled conveniently near several esteemed dining spots and the Eden Court Theatre, the location lends itself perfectly to exploring Inverness. Over three nights in the Sapphire Room, I was greeted by a clean and spacious layout, complete with a cozy sitting area. Each morning began with a complimentary full breakfast—a highlight of my stay. The unique touch of fresh eggs sourced from the proprietor's very own chickens was a delightful surprise, showcasing a commitment to local produce. While the host, John, provided excellent recommendations for local dining, the historical charm of the house itself was impressive. Its proximity to the riverside created a peaceful backdrop for leisurely morning runs—a necessity for someone who relishes both travel and fitness. Moyness House not only offers comfortable accommodations but also a rich culinary experience that will surely appeal to food enthusiasts. Just be mindful of the early breakfast service, as this might not suit guests who prefer a leisurely sleep-in. This inviting establishment serves as a fine base for enjoying both local cuisine and the scenic beauty of Inverness.
